Being baptized into the death of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Bishop’s Pen

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ,
were baptized into his death?”

                                                                                                -Romans 6:3

Christianity throughout the United States and even the world is a religion of shallow beliefs encompassed into a reactionary mind set way of thinking, that has no more to do with Biblical doctrine or the very Life of Jesus Christ, than does darkness have to do with Light (2 Corinthians 4:6/ 6:14). Christianity today in its most accepted denominations is nothing more than the illegitimate bastard daughters of that infamous “mother of harlots” (Revelation 17:5) which sits upon the seven hills of Vatican City (17:9). And whether that daughter of whoredom be reformed, orthodox or fundamental, Lutheran or Protestant, Anglican or Methodist, Episcopalian or Presbyterian, Southern Baptists or Independent Baptists, Calvinists or Armenian, Mennonite or Amish, Satan hath corrupted all their minds (2 Corinthians 11:3) into thinking that they can be baptized into Jesus Christ, without being baptized into his death (Romans 6:3). Since the very first beating of Christian ministers in Acts 5:40, there has been a manifest flight from the sufferings of Christ by every major leader of Christianity that has loved a positional relationship with Christ rather than a devotional one.

“Grant unto us that we may sit, one on
thy right hand, and the other
on thy left hand, in thy glory.”

                                                                                  -Mark 10:37

The ministry of Jesus Christ has always been full of men who got there through a desire for the position, rather than through a devotional communion with Jesus Christ that goes beyond mere positional beliefs, to an intimate personal sanctification of life for life in Jesus Christ, where the child of God “follow[s] on to know the Lord” (Hosea 6:3) with “the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:8) that makes “both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified  are all of one” (Hebrews 2:11); so much so that the child of God’s personal knowledge of Jesus Christ is founded upon this heavenly principle that “then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Corinthians 13:12) in a Pauline “loss of all things” (Philippians 3:8) to gain the knowledge of Christ, “and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” (vs. 9). Howbeit, that unity with Christ, requires a “unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3) that makes us of “one body, and one Spirit…one hope…one faith, one baptism” (vs. 4, 5), “one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2) “and one mouth” (Romans 15:6). Yet in these last days, there is a cursed, damnable ministration of philosophy and individuality, that just as the “scribes and Pharisees” did with “the kingdom of heaven”, so do these self conceited ministers of today shut up the kingdom of God against men: “for they neither go in themselves, neither suffer they them that are entering to go in” (Matthew 23:13).

“Behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

                                                                                  -Luke 17:21

“We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”

                                                                                  -Acts 14:22

That one faith, the Bible demands must be contended for (Jude 3), in a fight (2 Timothy 4:7) that demands that “we love one another” (John 13:34) but “quit like men” (1 Corinthians 16:13/ 1 Samuel 4:9) in a baptism unto death, “even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8), for “know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death” (Romans 6:3)? Those two Biblical demands upon the New Testament soldier are absolutely mandatory in obtaining and maintaining “the unity of the Spirit” mentioned above, without which, no church ministration is used of God. God using a church ministry is far removed and different from a church ministry using God. Satan has finished off Laodicean Christianity with the self willed conceit of just about every church on the face of this earth, in an independent flight from “the preeminence of Christ” (Colossians 1:18) to the deist proclamation of the most divisive Christianity ever known.

  "I am"
                                                      The Church of the Laodiceans

                                                                                   -Revelation 3:17

When the individual minister, the individual Christian or the individual church takes the preeminence in all matters of doctrine, ministrations, beliefs and practices, they cease to be directed of God, and stand outside the will of God from that moment onward.

   “I wrote unto the church:
But Diotrephes, who loveth to have
The preeminence among them,
Receiveth us not.”

                                                                            -3 John 9

When personal feelings, democratic whims of the majority, philosophical views and culture replace the Holy Scriptures as the final authority, and when personal thoughts and feelings replace the direct will of God and are pushed as truth and doctrine, “the lamp of God goes out in the temple of the Lord” (1 Samuel 3:3), and it is replaced with the darkness of a sectarian divisiveness in the churches as if drawn from the doctrinal statements of mad men and devils, and “how great is that darkness” (Matthew 6:23)?”

  “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,
that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,
giving heed to seducing spirits,
and doctrines of devils.”

                                                                             -1 Timothy 4:1

Satan has darkened the vestibules of the largest ecclesiastical denominations with the black robed theology of Rome for 1,700 years. Howbeit, the devil has in these last 400 years completely invalidated and silenced the body of Christ with the very admonition Christ warned his disciples about concerning the structure of Satan’s own house.

“And if a house be divided against itself,
that house cannot stand.
And if Satan rise up against himself,
and be divided, he cannot stand,
but hath an end.”

                                                                           -Mark 3:25, 26

These damnable divisions have always been caused by those self esteeming religious bigots the Bible has always called “the Pharisees and the Sadducees” (see Acts 23:7, “…and the multitude was divided”). And before the New Testament Church was fifteen years old (see Galatians 2:1) there was already within its walls “a sect of the Pharisees which believed” (Acts 15:5) that as always “rose up” to gender strife and division and “much disputing” (Acts 15:7). And though there is the command for “rightly dividing the word of truth” (1 Timothy 2:15), there is no way to rightly divide the body and church of Jesus Christ.

 “Is Christ divided?”

                                                                           -1 Corinthians 1:13

But such divisions have always been caused by “self conceited Brethren, who run their own ways, and give liking unto nothing, but what is framed by themselves, and hammered on their anvil”[i]. And most of which was caused when pastors took over the offices of the bishops, evangelists confined themselves inside the walls of the church to preach to saved people, missionaries began robbing churches to replace the itinerate work of an apostle with a full time overseas vacation as a Christian humanitarian diplomat, and the prophets ran scared back into the church houses leaving their community, state and national political arenas void and silent from “him that rebuketh in the gate” (Amos 5:10). When pastors began taking over the office of bishop, they were out of place, out of character, and out of courage to even slightly attempt to keep all the other ministers in their places, and so pulpits began to be filled with philosophers (Colossians 2:8) and vain deceivers who think their style of Christianity is right because they think its right, church pews stand vacant except on Sunday as young men called to preach fill the student’s desk at seminaries to learn a style of ministration whose “strength is to sit still” (Isaiah 30:7), and whose curriculum and study habits make them two fold more the child of laziness than the “teachers having itching ears” (2 Timothy 4:3) that taught them. And the world goes to hell without a preacher with the courage to do what his title says he supposed to be called to do; without a church that resembles one from the Bible regardless of the fraudulent historical records; and without a Christian who lives like one of the disciples who were first called Christians (Acts 11:26).

Before and during the Reformation, the Anabaptists were used of God to demonstrate this one universal truth, which God wrote with the blood of those faithful martyrs in the Acts of the Holy Ghost that you cannot reform the Roman Catholic Church anymore than you could convert Lutherans or Protestants to Jesus Christ. With the advent of and soon demise of the Laodicean Age of the people’s rights, once again, as the Holy Ghost has done down through the annals of the Church of the Living God, the Anabaptists are again stepping up to the front of the line that leads to the guillotine’s edge, as they continue growing and increasing in numbers throughout the world to the dismay of every major religious denomination in the world that had long agreed with Satan himself that darkness had finally overshadowed light so that the modern day ministers can transgress “in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery. For they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth” (Ezekiel 8:12). Howbeit, this time God has established the angelic decree that sounded from Mount Olivet the day Christ ascended.

“This same Jesus, which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner
as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

                                                                                         -Acts 1:11

Just as God Almighty started “his act, his strange act” (Isaiah 28:21) from Antioch (Acts 13:1-6), so He is finishing it “in like manner” (Acts 1:11) in preparation for “the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). In the same Biblical presbyterian form of church discipline adhered to faithfully by that interracial church in Antioch (Acts 13:1), where “young men could see visions, and…old men could dream dreams” (Acts 2:17) in these last days (vs. 17), the Anabaptists have clave to the love of Christ and that King of Jacob’s Bible (Isaiah 41:21) with that Pauline example of Christ’s command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, with a methodical conformation to the disciplines set down in writing from 2,000 years of factual history in God’s “furnace of affliction” (Isaiah 48:10). Those written admonitions from Anabaptists history, “taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most assuredly believed among us” (Luke 1:1), stand upon the Holy Scriptures in this undying principle of Anabaptists fortitude that a Christian cannot “love God whom he hath not seen” (1 John 4:20) and not love “his brother whom he hath seen”. And he cannot love his brother whom he hath seen and not maintain with him “the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3). And he cannot maintain that unity of the Spirit without dwelling together and working together in unity for the honour and glory of Jesus Christ alone. But it is impossible for Christians to be of one mind, one heart, one faith and voice without a Biblical prescription that can guide each through the Bible in maintaining that unity in all that the church believes and lives by.

Just as the world is sick of hearing about God from lazy, self conceited ministers that cannot speak for God, so too are Christians all over the world tired and fed up with the lord men (Mark 10:42, 43/ Luke 22:25, 26/ 1 Peter 5:3), trampling over the flock and spoiling the “green pastures” of God (Psalm 23: 1, 2) to promote themselves at the expense of the word of God and the people of God. God’s people are tired of lazy, lying ministers that “draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope” (Isaiah 5:18), “deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13). Howbeit, there “is a strong consolation” to those “who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil” (Hebrews 6:18, 19). And that hope and that refuge is “even Jesus” (vs. 20), and He is still working mightily throughout the world in calling and saving sinners unto “repentance to salvation not be repented of” (2 Corinthians 7:10), and baptizing them into one body, as one new man, even the man Christ Jesus. But it will cost you all that you have to “know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” (Philippians 3:8-11), “even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8).

If you are tired of pretending to be a Christian, without hope, without peace and without God in this world, contact us. If you are tired of spending your days in a religious pretense of spirituality while accomplishing nothing remotely similar to the New Testament work of God’s people, then we would encourage you to forsake your religion and the ecclesiastical dominance of this damnable religious elitism in the name of Christ, and “dig through the wall” (Ezekiel 12:5) of the Laodicean church you are a hapless member of, and come join the work of God with those that have learned to live and die in Jesus Christ, “being baptized into his death” (Romans 6:3) and “always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body” (2 Corinthians 4:10-11).

“So then death worketh in us, but life in you.”

                                                                                                  -vs. 12

You truly have never lived, until you have died unto sin in Jesus Christ alone. Come join a people who know they are saved from sin to life everlasting, and can’t help but live like it in a life for Life transformation, where the new birth is not a cliché of some fraudulent money grabbing minister of carnality, but an everlasting change from death to life, and God knows you need to be changed! Christianity is more than a claim of religion that dresses a sinful life up in choir robes of hypocrisy, where ungodliness is a virtue at church just as much as it was a sinful pleasure in the bar rooms and cat houses of this world. Anabaptism is just as the word means, ‘another baptism’ that modern Christianity knows nothing about, but which is so literal that the Bible makes this claim upon you forever, that “if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness” (Romans 8:10). Come die with us unto sin and this world, “that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh” (2 Corinthians 4:11), “for great is the mystery of godliness” (1 Timothy 3:16).
