The Anabaptists Churches of Kenya
The Anabaptists Churches of Kenya were established in December of 2007 out of Malakisi, on the western side of Kenya, on the eastern side of the Western Province, overlooking the Rift Valley. The Kenyan Presbytery of the Anabaptists Churches is over seen by the National Bishop of Kenya, Constant Mukokha and at present includes the Provincial Bishops Jesse Isa Okiring, Rift Valley Province; Stephen Mamai, Western Province; and Bishop Moses Ekasiba Okiru, Coast Province. As with any work of God, the Holy Spirit has abundantly blessed the preaching of the gospel of Christ throughout all of Kenya, with daily open air crusades being conducted, with souls being saved and Anabaptists Churches are mulitplying and growing extensively. At present the Anabaptists Churches throughout the Rift Valley are located in and around Kitale, Eldoret and Nakura. In the Western Province, God has enabled us to establish churches in Arunai, Malakisi, and Bungoma. We have a church within the Nyanza Province at Kisumu, and several churches in Nairobi. This last December 2009, Bishops Okiring and Mamai held meetings in Mombassa, and were able to start churches throughout the Coast Province, with churches two churches in the Mombassa District at Kisauni and at Kongowea. In the Kilindinni District we have the Anabaptists Church at the Magongo Airport, at Bangalaa and also Mintini. In the Kwale District we have a church now at Likoni.
